Here's an update on our kitchen. The ceiling and the painting is done! We took off all the old tile things that were covering the nice wood ceiling, then I painted the ceiling and Pete put the tin ceiling up and then we put the moulding up. Then Pete installed the new lights. Now we are working on everything else. The cabinets are all installed except for one. Pete installed the oven last night and today he is working on the back splash(it matches the ceiling). So we are moving along slowly but surely.
The thing I miss most is the Kitchen sink! I didn't realize how much I would miss the sink, but that's what I miss the most!

Did you put the wood boards (minus the correct terminology) in the ceiling? I LOVE that?
How exciting! Maybe by the time we can come visit (who knows when that will ever be) your whole house will be done and we can see the finnished product! Plane tickets are expensive you know. It's looking really cute!

When we bought our first home we had to repair and remodel. I didn't have a kitchen sink for 2 months! It does make you appreciate things:)
