Good ol' Friends

We had some visitors this week! Tara, Noa and Sam Kalama came to visit us. It was fun to catch up on all the news and fun to see friends I haven't seen for a long time.

Lake Riffe

We went to Lake Riffe yesterday to visit with grandma and pa Smith and Pete's Aunt and Uncle. Who are camping there for the weekend.

Lake Riffe is on the way to Mt Rainer, about an hour from Vader. So we went up for the day to play.
It turned out to be a beautiful sunset with only a few sprinkles throughout the day. The kids had a blast. Elora almost dove into the lake(on accident), she caught herself with her face about 2 inches from the water.

Saturday Fun

So, today we had our Primary Activity! It was all about caring. Sister Gifford brought her pony, so of course that's where all the kids wanted to be the whole time! The kids all got to ride it too, but I didn't get any pics because I was busy doing my part for the activity, so sad! Anyway, all went well and it turned out to be a good activity!

Then Grandma and Grandpa went to a safety fair and brought the kids back these fireman hats, which they really, really like!

Danika found a good spot to play, on the bottom shelf of the bookcase, chewing on plastic corn!

I love Jane Austen books (and movies) , so when I saw this quiz I had to take it! I think my favorite Jane Austen heroine is Elizabeth Bennett, but I guess I'm more like Elinor Dashwood. Such fun!

8 Months Old

My baby is 8 months old now! I can't believe how the time flies!
It seems like I just had her a month ago!
Danika is crawling around and trying to eat everything she comes in contact with. No matter what it is! She especially loves to eat her big brother and sisters dirty socks they leave laying around! Mmm yummy!

I look back to 5 years ago when I just had Zach and it's amazing how much I have relaxed. Poor Zach wasn't allowed to do anything, especially eat dirty socks! I definitely enjoy my babies so, so much more now that I have learned how to be a mom! Yep! I had to learn how to be a mom! It took me a couple years and a few tears to figure it out but I think I've got the baby part down. We'll see what happens when I have a house full of teenagers! That's not for a while still so I'm not going to think about it!
