Elora was running up to Grandma and Grandpa's house and tripped right before she got to the stairs and her face hit the bottom step! I think this is Elora's 3rd black eye in her 4 years of life! In my 29 years of life I've had 1 black eye (high school P.E. Badminton, my partners racket got a little out of control). I don't know how this girl does it, but she does!

I just had to share with everyone our awesome Snowball Bush! I love this bush, I should say bushes because there are probably over 100 bushes making up this one gigantic bush. I made Elora stand in the pic so you could see how big this bush is. Inside it is a "cave" that is tall enough that I can stand up straight. The kids love it and play all kinds of games and they love climbing to the top and sticking their heads out of the bush. This year everything has been growing like crazy, including this bush. So I trimmed it back and got these two huge vases full of snowballs!

Here's a pic of our lilac bush that has beautiful blooms covering it and our Rhododendron that finally bloomed this year! We planted it 2 years ago! I love flowers!

Somehow Ben managed to be in this pic :)
This was at Hurricane Ridge. We weren't really expecting snow so we weren't prepared with snow shoes so we didn't hike very far.

This was the Railroad hiking trail at Crescent Lake. It was beautiful! The trail led to a swimming hole where the water is around 300ft deep and sooooo clear blue! The pic below is of us all standing on the bridge that crosses the swimming hole. I used my timer.

The bears would do tricks for bread, like wave and clap and stand up. We even got to see Elk up close. We see them all the time wondering around here but we never get to see them up close. And a Lion roared at us, that was exciting, Danika kept roaring back.
Before we left we spent some time on the Dungeness Spit, not nearly enough but that's OK because we are going to the beach again in 3 weeks. We found lots of really cool rocks and the kids didn't want to leave. (neither did the big kids)
Danika just had to close her eyes when I took this pic but she has such a cute little face that I still had to put the pic on.
And this pic was just such a great, truly candid pic!
So, I'm just a little late posting this! Elora's B-Day is April 24th but we had her party on the 27th. She was so excited to get all these presents! Of course she had to open the Princess present first, which was a princess coloring station from Matt and Mandy! She loves it!
Grandma Julie made this pretty pink dress for Elora and I gave her all the princess jewelry.
The only part of cake that Elora will eat is the frosting, so I decided to make her Fruit Pizza this year instead of the traditional B-Day cake. It was sooooooo yummy!
And to finish off the party Elora requested "the chocolate fountain"! If you know Pete at all you wont be surprised to learn that we own our very own Chocolate Fountain. It's ALWAYS a hit anywhere!
I thought Elora's mustache was quite becoming on her!
