Cousins

My cousin Courtney, his wife Laura and their 3 kids came for a visit this weekend. It's been about 8 yrs since our last visit, so it was fun to catch up and meet each others kids. Elora had tons of fun playing with her "twin" Daphne! They totally look like they could be sisters!

Happy Birthday Zach!

Zach is 7 now! It's so crazy that he's that old! He had a fun day with his family and got some fun gifts! He really wanted a Transformer, so we made him a Transformer-toped cake! He loved it of course!

Our kitchen is officially done! Here are the pictures to prove it!

This is a pic of the kitchen before we moved in. It was nasty dirty and there was lots of junk laying around. But anyway you can see what it looked like and what we've been living with for the past 3 yrs.

We kept the old farmhouse sink, but Pete had to build a cabinet for it because it's an odd size.

Here's my costume, it's a cool old gunny sack dress. I love finding old dresses at Thrift Shops and yard sales, Halloween gives me a chance to actually wear them!!
